Be not under bondage

If you've had a Christian marriage that sadly ended in some churches you are looked down upon as contaminated, a failure, not worthy to serve. Dr. Ruckman will punch holes in all these fallacies. This is essential reading for anyone who wants the Biblical Truth, that marriage is a physical relationship, not a set of vows, not a paper from the state, not a ceremony. It's when "flesh joins flesh". If flesh leaves flesh in an affair than the person who was abandoned is no longer under bondage but is free to remarry, but only in the Lord (another saved person). If flesh deserts flesh, that is another reason for divorce. Marriage is not a "sacrament", as the Roman Catholic Papacy teaches. The word "sacrament" is not even a Bible word, nor a Bible doctrine. If you are not Roman Catholic why do you buy into their false doctrines?

Do not let anyone "lord it over God's heritage". The Bible is the most radical book ever written. Challenge your old misconceptions about marriage, divorce, and remarriage and read this booklet by Dr. Ruckman, study it, and buy extra copies to give to other Christian friends who are being told they should feel guilty, ashamed, etc. just because one partner thinks they want something else out of life besides you.

Quick Reference to a Wealth of Information

As a desk reference this book is not intended to be a replacement for a textbook on the subject, but to provide a well indexed quick guide to problems likely to confront the clinical worker.

In addition, the clinical worker is likely to find this to be a useful book to share with patients seeding additional information about particular conditions. The ability to show such patients (or their parents) brief descriptions of conditions being discussed is often a help. This is especially true in those cases where diagrams are included that can be shown to illustrate the condition being discussed.

This is the first edition of this book. It is remarkable in that so much information is included. It is such a useful concept that I expect there will be future editions over time and that it will become one of the standards kept on everyone's desk.

Extensive guide to clinical geneticist

This reference book has provided useful notes for a list of diseases and conditions one may need to look up from time to time. Geneticists would benefit the most, especially in my opinion, ones that have not specifically worked in the clinical field. As mediterrenean folks, we were surprised to find out FMF was left out. Some other common dysmorphic features were not as comprehensive as others. Nevertheless, I think this book is a must in a hospital genetician's library; hence the title "desk reference".

An excellent book, an excellent idea, an excellent script!

A virtuous mix of rational choice, institutionalism and neo-Marxism theories. Levi explains the interaction among State, actors and citizens that has preferences and strategic capacity to maximize objectives. With the historical examples worked by Levi, I notice the possibility to analyze the relationships among the Brazilian State, business associations and unions face the politics of neoliberal reforms recently applied by the brazilian government. "As specialization and division of labor increase, there is greater demand on the state to provide collective goods where once there were solely private goods or no goods at all."

From the second sentence of this book, it charts its course in oblivious contradiction of reality. In reality, of course, economic activity individuates and privatizes as society develops. The few exceptions, e.g., the Soviet Union, are typically short-lived and embarrassing to their promoters.

Ms. Levi is obviously a clever person, but sadly, as with many clever people in academia, her intelligence in this book is deployed mainly to play games of self-referential abstraction.

This book's obscurity and practical uselessness mean that it is unlikely to be of any consequence. There probably is a good book to be written on a general theory of comparative taxation, but this ain't it.
