A bit too much

Firstly, I have to admit I didn't feel too comfortable with mixing family and D/S activities, even though there were no direct sexual contact, I normally associate D/S with sexuality. Having the father and son being dominated by the wife and daughter was at the best, very ackward.

This story contains all the elements I'm usually looking for when reading femdom fiction ; feet domination, discipline, physical punishment and humiliation. Each of these items are pushed to their limits, to the point of numbness, where you can't imagine anything worse happening. It's fun to feel the descent of the protagonist, his entrapment by the female dominant and the contrast from the before and the after of the enslavement. For this to work you need to relate to the protagonist, it needs to be realistic, and you got to be able to put it in perspective, for greater effect. It lacked of all of this.

I wouldn't recommend, mostly due to the implied incest and lack of story's depth. However, if you don't mind the family intimacies and want to read something straightforward and physical, go for it.

This story was told by dad .He is one of two male slaves in a house ruled by women. (Andrea his wife and Jen his daughter .Throughout the book they are subjected to punishment and humiliation. It is usually the same but later in the book it got more intense .There was spanking and caning towards the middle and a lot of verbal which I found boring after a while. There was no sexual content at all with exception of chastity devices on dad and son and nudity of mom towards the end.

This is a hot book about a wife ruling over her husband and older son.
Later in the book the daughter turns 18 and now has full spanking rights on the two males.
The daughter has some of her friends over for a little fun with males being naked and sucking the girls toes.
I liked reading the book until it got crazy with over the top canning's and spankings on even the wife/mother.

Very basic and full of typos and sloppy writing

If you slept through English class in high school and you want to compose emails and Facebook posts that are less of a grammatical embarrassment, this book may help you. If you are any more advanced than that at writing, you probably won't get much out of it.

The book starts with a pep talk saying that you can be a writer, which didn't strike me as very useful. That is followed by a section on grammar that may be useful to some people, but it is at the level of explaining "you're vs. your" and "write vs. right." It ends by talking about finding your writing voice (similar to the beginning of the book, this is rather fluffy).

The number of typos, errors, and awkward sentences in this book is disappointing. A few examples:
"There is a writing voice inside in all of us."
"Read 5 minutes days first and then up it to 10 and later to 20."
"affect=verb meaning to act on; to produce a chance."
"Note: Don't confuse phrasal verbs that make up a huge category in the English language."

Farnoosh Is a Stickler of An Editor - and Will Empower Your Writing

I've gained a considerable following online through my self published website over the past few years - over a million visitors a year as of this review.

I also take care to proofread my writing, and consider myself an above average writer (don't we all!). One day I received an email from Farnoosh correcting some of my grammar and pointing out a few typos in my articles.

We all make mistakes, so I wasn't embarrassed... until she proceeded to email me over the next three weeks as I published new articles, tactfully and politely informing me of my mistakes!

I realized my writing, while above average, was still a little sloppy - and resolved to proofread much more carefully. She's the reason that I now carefully proofread all my blog posts: other people may let my misspellings slide, but not Farnoosh.

In this fantastic book, my favorite section was Farnoosh's explanation of errors writers make. Her section on "22 Serious Errors" contains frank, concise explanations of some of the most common (and yes, most serious) writing errors committed by writers both online and on pen and paper.

With Farnoosh's guidance, you'll write better, boost credibility with your readers - and save yourself from the embarrassment of having her email you personally to correct you!

Prolific Living Writing Manifesto

The use of visuals backed up with written explanation appeal to different learning styles and broaden the reach of this book tremendously! The layout & design allow for easy scannability, cements the information into people's brains and has a quick reference guide to print.
Her list of "pet peeves" is extremely comprehensive and encompasses many of my own irritations with communication today. The author's heartfelt reassurances that these errors are easily avoided (because if you're reading this manifesto, you MUST be brilliant, fabulous, and perfectly capable of writing well) resonate with me. I praise this book for making me question my own writing, and kicking me in the behind to write better. She demands that you stop making excuses for poor writing NOW by providing everything you need to improve in one book.

Compact and Comprehensive

Two major trends are fundamentally affecting enterprises, namely the consumerization of IT due to the BYOD phenomenon and the migration of servers to the datacenter. This has forced IT executives to become keen on imposing an application-centric view of the world from the standpoint of IT operations. This book could not have been more timely in that sense and thus is quite effective in simplifying the science behind Application tuning and optimization. The authors begin with a gentle introduction to the problem space and quickly delve into various dimensions like End user experience monitoring, runtime application discovery/modeling and display, transaction profiling and specifying a framework for deeper analytics. There is also very good appendix of real-life case studies at the end that further help illustrate the concepts explained in earlier sections. This appendix alone can be developed into a standalone book if they decide to write a sequel.Make no mistake this is not a text book nor a reference book as is evident from its size. There is no math-heavy academic discussions either - rather it can be viewed as a compendium of best practices or tribal knowledge in the area of application and network optimization written by two practicing experts of the trade.

IT managers and CIO's will no doubt benefit from this book, however I recommend this reading for performance engineers, programmers and systems analysts as it will give them a new perspective on why enterprise applications can underperform and fail to support business. It provides a logical approach for discovering underlying problems and correcting them. Highly recommended!!

Simple, excellent, pragmatic book

This little book is worth a read for any person implementing systems to support business process. I could read the book in two sittings. The book is written in a very simple language, understandable even by a non-technical person.

There are golden nuggets of insights sprinkled all over. I liked the idea of "Citrifying" apps for better WAN performance. When I was a part of datacenter move project we factored in the business criticality of the apps for the move, but we did not factor in the performance. After the move, we had to spend resources to fix performance issues. The authors of this book have called to factor in performance of applications for datacenter move, simply brilliant -I should have read this book earlier!

In summary: simple, excellent, pragmatic and has the nectar of valuable experience. Worth buying and reading.

About the Author
Dr Jerrold M. Post is Professor of Psychiatry, Political Psychology and International Affairs and director of the Political Psychology Program at George Washington University, Washington DC. Dr Post previously worked with the Central Intelligence Agency, where he was the founding director of the Center for the Analysis of Personality and Political Behavior. He played the lead role in developing the Camp David profiles of Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat for President Jimmy Carter and initiated the US government program for the study of the psychology of terrorism. In recognition of his leadership at the center, Dr Post was awarded the Intelligence Medal of Merit in 1979. He received the Nevitt Sanford Award from the International Society of Political Psychology in 2002 for distinguished professional contributions to political psychology. He has testified before the Senate and the House on his political psychology profile of Saddam Hussein and on the psychology of terrorism, and he has presented to the UN International Atomic Energy Agency on the psychology of weapons-of-mass-destruction terrorism. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences' Committee on Deterrence in the 21st Century.

Highly recommend !

Fascinating book! It is a must read for anyone interested in political psychology but also just a really accessible book for the lay person. Anyone interested in leaders and followers and what makes it all come together will want to read this book. Beautifully written and a joy to experience.

Unique and interesting material

While I do not always accept the extrapolations and conclusions drawn by psychiatrists (and I am a physician) this writing presents a huge volume of interesting insights. It was written before Trump's candidacy, but if you want to better understand Trump and his followers, read this book. Plenty of amusing pearls also presented, such as General Douglas MacArthur's simultaneous engagements to 8 different women.

An intellectual exercise in psychiatric ethics. Otherwise, a very good read for discussion particularly those of us that should be aware of the narcissistic spiral of those who pretend to represent their constituents. Let the voter beware, you may get what you did not ask for. Read the book before you vote.
